Next, you need to come in for a health assessment to determine if medical cannabis is a good fit for your needs. Some of the health issues approved for medical cannabis treatment include:

What are the steps involved in registering for medical cannabis?

Once you meet with your provider, the next step is to create a Utah ID account online so you can apply for a medical cannabis card. Your medical provider then signs into the system and enters a certification of your qualifying health condition and a medical recommendation for medical cannabis. 

You then pay the online fee for your medical cannabis card application. After a review process, you should receive your medical cannabis card through email and can use it to purchase medical cannabis products through one of the state’s designated cannabis pharmacies.
