How It Works
A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm, in the office on the same day as the procedure. A numbing lidocaine cream is applied to the penis, so that there is no pain during injection into the area.
The blood is put into a centrifuge to separate the platelets and plasma. The platelets are then transferred into another tube where a few drops of calcium chloride solution “trick” the platelets into thinking that they are in the body, and that the body has been injured. This stimulates the release of growth factors into the liquid of the tube.
Next, the liquid is then transferred into a syringe and injected into the penis using a tiny needle and in a way that properly distributes the growth factors.
Treatment typically takes about 60 minutes, and you may drive yourself home afterwards.
Why It Works
Researchers attribute the improvement in sexual function to the following possibilities:
- Increased blood flow
- Repair responses in some tissue or cells
- New neural pathways being established
- Activation of stems cells
- Collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels occurs
Common Questions about the P-Shot for Men
How much growth can I expect?10% to 20% increase in length and girth. An inch in length (a little more) and in girth has been seen patients; girth came first (with the injection), then length (with continued growth).
Where does the injection take place?
Directly into the corpus cavernosum (along the penis shaft) and into the head of the penis, with a small needle.
What about scar tissue?
For men who inject 3 to 5 times a week over many years using other treatments for erectile dysfunction, there is approximately 10% incidence of scar tissue formation. With the P-Shot procedure, there is only one injection, so the chances of scar tissue should be almost nothing.
When it comes to enhancing overall sexual health, the Priapus Shot is the right solution for you.
